阶段三:课程说明(中文版)

阶段三(阶段三)是课程体系中的核心阶段,主要深入学习《新概念英语第二册》。本阶段适合已经完成阶段二的学生,他们已具备一定基础,能够接触更长的故事、更复杂的语法结构,并进行更自信的英语表达。

在这一阶段,学生将通过阅读、听力和语言操练深入学习《新概念英语第二册》的故事内容。这些故事提供真实、有意义的语言输入,让学生在语境中理解并吸收地道的句型、语言结构和词汇。

语法教学来自课文中的语言,而不是独立讲解。学生通过以下方式自然掌握语法结构:

  • 课文句子

  • 结构化问答

  • 句型练习

  • 引导式口语表达

本阶段的重要特色之一是句型磨耳朵训练:学生先听一句英文,再听中文意思,再听英文原句。通过这种重复输入方式,学生逐渐形成自然理解和正确表达的语言反射能力。

学生还将继续进行口语训练,包括结构化问答、句子变换练习和引导式对话练习。随着能力提升,学生将进入引导式自由表达(Controlled Free Talk),在表达个人想法和观点时继续保持语法正确、句型自然。

本阶段将加入两种重要的新训练方式:


1. 跟读训练(Shadowing Practice)

学生听一句话后立即跟读,模仿母语者的语调、节奏和语气。此训练可显著提升语音、语调、语速和口语流利度,对学习新概念第二册非常有效。


2. 故事复述训练(Retelling Training)

学生将复述所学故事内容,通过这种方式提升长句组织能力、语法提取能力和表达流畅度。

复述训练循序渐进:

  • 单句复述
    → 段落复述
    → 整篇故事总结
    → 个人观点或反思表达

这种阶梯式训练帮助学生从“能回答问题”逐步发展到“能完整表达”。


阶段三的学习目标包括:

  • 强化阅读理解能力

  • 结构正确且自信的口语表达

  • 自然掌握并运用语法结构

  • 提升听力和口语节奏感与流利度

  • 建立灵活、活跃的词汇系统

  • 开始培养独立沟通能力

阶段三帮助学生从机械重复与被动反应迈向主动表达和真实沟通。他们开始用英语真正思考、表达、复述和交流,同时保持表达准确性与语法正确性。

这一阶段为下一阶段做好全面准备——流利阅读、更深入的交流表达,以及更独立、更自然的英语使用。



阶段三:课程说明(英文版)

Stage Three (阶段三) is the core learning stage where students study New Concept English Book 2 in depth.
This stage is designed for learners who have completed Stage Two and are ready for longer stories, stronger grammar understanding, and more confident communication.

In Stage Three, students read, listen to, and work with the stories in New Concept English Book 2. The stories provide rich and meaningful English input, allowing students to experience authentic sentence structures, patterns, and vocabulary in context.

Grammar is taught through the language found in the stories, not in isolation. Students learn structures naturally through:

  • Story sentences

  • Controlled questions and answers

  • Sentence-pattern practice

  • Guided speaking

A key part of this stage is sentence pattern grinding, where students listen to an English sentence, hear the meaning in Chinese, and then hear the English again. This repeated pattern helps build automatic understanding and correct sentence production.

Speaking practice continues through structured Q&A, sentence transformation tasks, and guided dialogue work. As students gain confidence, they begin controlled free talk, expressing ideas and personal responses while still focusing on accuracy and correct grammar.

Two important new training methods are introduced:

1. Shadowing Practice

Students repeat sentences after hearing them, matching the natural rhythm, intonation, and emotion of native speech. This improves fluency, pronunciation, speech rhythm, and confidence — especially useful with the style of NCE2.

2. Retelling Training

Students practice retelling the stories they learn. This helps develop long-form speaking skills, fluency, and grammar recall.

Retelling increases in stages:

  • Single-sentence retell
    → Paragraph retell
    → Full story summary
    → Personal opinion or reflection

This step-by-step progression builds real expressive ability rather than memorized answers.

The goals of Stage Three are to develop:

  • Strong reading comprehension

  • Confident speaking with correct structure

  • Accurate grammar awareness and use

  • Fluent listening and speaking rhythm

  • A flexible and active vocabulary

  • The beginning of independent communication

Stage Three is where students move beyond simple repetition and controlled responses. They begin to truly use English to think, express, retell, and communicate, while still maintaining accuracy and structure.

This stage prepares students for the next phase: confident reading, deeper conversation, and more independent English use.
